The Council of Architecture (CoA) will conduct the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2020 for the candidates interested in admission to the undergraduate graduate programmes in Architecture (BArch). The council has been constituted by the Government of India for registration of Architects, standards of education, recognised qualifications and standards of professional conduct and etiquette. NATA is being conducted every year with an objective to provide a single scheme of examination facilitating prospective students all over the country for admission in architecture programmes. The exam was started in 2006 to help students avoid appearing in multiple aptitude tests. The eligibility for admission to five-year Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree course will also be decided through NATA 2020.  The eligibility conditions for NATA 2020 will be prescribed by CoA and duly approved by the Central Government.
